1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PitStop ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PitStop is a food truck business management platform that helps operators track event revenue and expenses, analyze profitability, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions about their business. The Service is provided via web application and may include additional features and tools as they are developed.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

You are solely responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. PitStop cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Using the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempting to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
• Accessing or attempting to access another user's account without authorization.
• Using automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service without our written permission.
• Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or other harmful code.

5. Subscription & Billing

PitStop offers both free and paid subscription plans:

• Starter (Free): Includes core features with a limit of 10 events per month.
• Pro ($19/month): Includes unlimited events, advanced analytics, PDF exports, and priority support. An annual plan is available at $179/year.

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to Pro features until that date. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by PitStop and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data you input into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and process your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PitStop and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
