We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including calculating analytics and generating reports.
• Process transactions and manage your subscription.

The Service is hosted on Vercel. Our database is powered by PostgreSQL and managed through Prisma. Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and secure authentication practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate PitStop:

• Stripe: For payment processing and subscription management. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.
• Resend: For transactional emails such as account verification, password resets, and billing notifications.
• Vercel: For application hosting and deployment.

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing the use of your information. We encourage you to review their policies.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data: View all the business data and personal information stored in your account at any time.
• Export your data: Download your event data and business information from the Service.
• Delete your account: Request deletion of your account and all associated data through your account settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
• Update your information: Correct or update your personal information through your account settings.

6. Cookies

PitStop uses minimal cookies. We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your authentication state. These cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

The Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
